Razvijen zajedno s Polyscope XILOYTM 3D, Ultrafuse ABS Fusion+ je inženjerski filament optimiziran za 3D ispis. Ovaj materijal razvijen je u suradnji s tvrtkom Polyscope Polymers, specijalistom za poboljšanje učinkovitosti polimera stiren maleinskog anhidrida (SMA). Polyscope je poznat po svojim materijalnim rješenjima u automobilskoj industriji.

Značajke ABS Fusion+ su:

  • Slabo uvijanje materijala prilikom ispisa
  • Izvrsno pristaje uz potporni materijal

ABS je termoplast koji se koristi u mnogim primjenama. Iako je ABS klasificiran kao standardni materijal u 3D ispisu, bilo ga je vrlo teško dobro ispisati. BASF je uspio razviti vrstu ABS-a koja se može izravno tiskati na staklo bez ikakvih tekućina ili ljepljive trake i ima veću stopu uspješnosti ispisa zbog iznimno malog savijanja materijala.
